Infosys is partnering with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) to modernize and migrate its core ERP systems to the cloud. The initiative will span MACS’ network of nearly 300 schools, impacting 18,000 staff and 120,000 students.
As part of the digital transformation, Infosys will deploy enterprise-grade solutions including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, identity and access management, and master data management. The goal is to simplify operations, improve data access in real-time, and set up a scalable infrastructure that supports future generative AI applications.
The new cloud-based system will offer a unified digital workspace with role-based access, enabling smoother communication and team collaboration across MACS schools.
“We chose Infosys for their expertise in managing complex transformations,” said Dr. Edward Simons, Executive Director at MACS. “This will allow teachers to focus more on students than systems.”
Vicki Russell, MACS’ Chief Technology and Transformation Officer, added, “With a future-ready platform, we’re now positioned to drive innovation and deliver quality education at scale.”
SAP’s Peter Moore emphasized that the collaboration will modernize day-to-day operations and empower educators with better tools to support students and staff.
Infosys EVP Raja Shah said the partnership reflects a major milestone in Australia’s education sector. “MACS is setting a bold digital vision, and we’re proud to support it with SAP-powered, AI-ready platforms.”
